Indispensible
Sermon From April 21, 2019
Death is an inevitable part of our lives, yet it is something we seldom think about if at all. Many of us live as if death is not a problem. Yet, throughout history, death has been something that has been acknowledged and dealt with openly.
In this continuing message from 2 Corinthians, from Easter Sunday, Pastor Dan Brenton looks at death and how Jesus not only acknowledged it but conquered its consequences on our behalf. When the reality of death is far from our minds, the promise of Jesus seems detached from our lives. As we remember and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, we need to understand why we must also remember death and its consequences. And then celebrate the One who conquered it.
